Every year, United Community recruits interns to work within our agency as they pursue both graduate and undergraduate degrees. In the last few weeks, we have welcomed several interns who will be joining us during the academic year:

• Jacey Lynn Edwards, an MSW intern who will be at Creekside Community Center as a Youth Development Specialist
• Angelica Guevara-Lopez, a BSW intern who will serve as a Case Manager with Stepping Stones
• Zulemy Loza, who is a coach with the Family Achievement Program, will be pulling double-duty and complete her MSW internship as a Case Manager at Progreso Literacy and Citizenship Center
• Lydia Samuelson, an MSW intern who will be a Youth Development Specialist at Sacramento Community Center
• Cristina Schuck, a BSW intern who will be working as a Coach with our Family Achievement Program
• Laingotania Parnell, a recent graduate from NOVA with her associates degree in Paralegal Studies will be at Progreso Literacy and Citizenship Center helping our full-time immigration attorney.

They offer tremendous contributions as we assist them with putting their learning into action. We value our interns and look forward to working with them during this academic year.”
